What is a medical spa?
A medical spa, or medspa, combines traditional spa treatments with medical-grade aesthetic procedures performed under the supervision of licensed medical professionals. Treatments may include injectables, skin rejuvenation procedures, and wellness services designed to improve both appearance and overall health.
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
The best way to determine the right treatment is through a consultation. During your visit at Omnia Integrative Health & MedSpa, a provider evaluates your goals, medical history, and skin or wellness concerns to recommend a personalized treatment plan.
Do I need a consultation?
Yes, new patients and patients who are unsure about which treatments they may require, should consider a consultation first. Consultations allow for personalized safe and effective care. Every person’s skin, body, and health goals are different.
A consultation helps the provider understand your unique needs. Consultation fees may apply or may be waived depending on treatment.
Can I do more than one treatment in one appointment?
Yes, often times patients can have multiple treatments in one appointment but it depends on a few factors such as preparation, intensity of the treatment and aftercare.
If you're considering multiple treatments, it's smart to book a consultation first, so our providers can create a customized plan based on your goals and medical history.
How quickly will I see results after my neuromodulators or dermal filler treatment?
Onset of these treatments vary, 2 weeks is a safe and effective timeframe to see maximum results. Some treatments may be effective sooner, but waiting until the 2 week mark, ensures that the area has healed and your provider can adjust treatment appropriately if needed.
Are there any restrictions after having neuromodulators or dermal fillers?
After Neuromodulators (Daxxify, Xeomin, etc.):
First 4–6 Hours:
- Stay upright – Do not lie down or bend over excessively.
- No touching or massaging the treated area.
- Avoid makeup application directly over injection sites.
- Avoid exercise or anything that increases blood flow to the face (e.g., hot yoga).
First 24 Hours:
- Avoid strenuous activity or heavy lifting.
- No alcohol (can increase bruising).
- No facials or facial massages.
- Avoid heat exposure (hot showers, saunas, tanning beds).
- No airplane travel (optional precaution, some providers recommend waiting 24 hours).
Why?
These precautions help prevent the neuromodulator from migrating to unintended muscles and reduce the risk of bruising or swelling.
After Dermal Fillers (RHA, Radiesse, etc.):
First 24–48 Hours:
- Avoid touching or massaging the area unless directed by your provider.
- No intense exercise or activities that increase blood flow.
- Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications (if not medically necessary).
- Avoid makeup for the first few hours (especially around lips or eyes).
- Limit heat exposure (same as with neuromodulators).
- Apply ice gently to reduce swelling if needed (wrap in a cloth to avoid direct skin contact).
First 1–2 Weeks:
- No facial massages or skin treatments (microneedling, lasers, facials).
- Bruising and swelling may occur and peak in the first 2–3 days, improving by 7–10 days.
- Avoid dental procedures (some providers suggest waiting 2 weeks post-filler to avoid pressure or infection risk).
Why?
Fillers need time to settle and integrate with your tissue. Disturbing the area too soon can affect symmetry or placement, and increase the chance of complications.
What is integrative medicine?
Integrative health refers to a holistic approach to healthcare that combines conventional Western medicine with complementary and alternative therapies to treat the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. The goal is to optimize health and healing, rather than just treating symptoms or disease.
Key Features of Integrative Health include:
Whole-person care: Focuses on physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual, and environmental influences.
Patient-centered: The patient and practitioner are partners in the healing process, with the patient's preferences and values central to care decisions.
Evidence-informed: Uses the best available scientific evidence, but is open to therapies outside of standard medical practice if they show benefit.
Combination of therapies: Integrates conventional treatments (like surgery, medications, and physical therapy) with complementary approaches (like acupuncture, yoga, meditation, massage, and nutrition).
Emphasis on prevention and lifestyle: Encourages healthy behaviors and self-care to prevent illness and promote well-being.
What is Hormone Replacement Therapy? What are the risks/benefits?

What treatments help improve collagen production?
Treatments such as microneedling, PRF collagen stimulation, and certain chemical peels are designed to stimulate the body’s natural collagen production. These treatments can help improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, and support overall skin health.
How long do skin rejuvenation treatments take to show results?
Some treatments provide immediate improvements, while others stimulate gradual skin regeneration. Collagen-stimulating treatments may take several weeks to show visible improvements as the body produces new collagen.
Are injectable treatments safe?
Injectable treatments are generally safe when performed by trained medical professionals using FDA-approved products. At Omnia Integrative Health & MedSpa, treatments are performed by experienced providers who prioritize patient safety and natural-looking results.
How long do cosmetic injectable treatments last?
The duration of injectable treatments depends on the type of product used. Neuromodulators like Xeomin or Daxxify typically last several months, while dermal fillers may last from several months up to a year or longer depending on the product and treatment area.
What are the benefits of IV therapy?
IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, and nutrients directly into the bloodstream, allowing the body to absorb them quickly. Many patients use IV therapy to support hydration, energy levels, immune function, and overall wellness.
What are vitamin injections used for?
Vitamin injections deliver nutrients such as B12 directly into the muscle for efficient absorption. They are often used to support energy levels, metabolism, and overall health.
